Avis is proceeding with the renewal of its car sharing service, introducing Avis Go Now, the new name of Avis Car Sharing, with the aim of enhancing flexibility and immediacy in urban transportation.
As the company states in its announcement, the service retains all the features that differentiated it in the market, while the new identity highlights the ability to access a car at any time and for as long as the user needs.
Through the Avis Go Now app, which is available free of charge on Apple Store & Google Play, the user has the ability, in just a few minutes, to have a car for wherever and for however long needed, even for 1 hour. All that is required is to register a driving license, ID card, and payment card, select the pickup location and time, and locate the nearest car, which unlocks easily through the app. The charge is dynamic and calculated based on usage, with full exemption from maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs.
After the trip is completed, the user returns the car to any participating service point, through a wide network of stations in Athens, from the city center to key points in Attica, such as Athens International Airport, the Port of Piraeus, Nea Smyrni, and Kifisia. All stations operate as pickup, return, and parking points, simplifying the use of the car for short trips.
Actively contributing to green mobility, the Avis Go Now fleet consists of the most modern electric cars, while all parking spaces are fully equipped with chargers, ensuring a comfortable driving experience.
