The General Industrial Producer Price Index (domestic and foreign markets combined), with a base year of 2021=100.0 and a reference month of May 2026, compared to the corresponding index for May 2025, showed an increase of 13.5%, compared to the 2.0% increase recorded in the corresponding comparison of the 2025 and 2024 indices.
The General Index for May 2026, compared to the index for April 2026, showed a decrease of 0.9%, compared to a decrease of 1.5% recorded in the corresponding comparison of the 2025 indices.
The average General Index for the 12-month period from June 2025 to May 2026, compared to the average General Index for the 12-month period from June 2024 – May 2025, showed an increase of 2.0% compared to a decrease of 0.6% recorded in the corresponding comparison of the previous 12-month periods.
