Following the first two highly successful cycles of the innovative Lidl UP: Learn & Work, with graduates already holding positions as Assistant Store Managers, Lidl Greece once again reaffirms its commitment to developing and supporting the next generation of retail professionals.
According to the announcement, this is a two-year program that combines on-the-job training through store employment with a free curriculum of theoretical training.
It offers a certified “Retail Management Professional” diploma from the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) and a position as Assistant Store Manager with a starting salary of €1,530 awaiting its graduates in just two years.
The program is implemented in collaboration with SAEK AKMI. Students receive high-level theoretical training, while simultaneously gaining hands-on experience at one of Lidl Hellas’ stores in Athens and Thessaloniki, with a fixed monthly gross salary of €1,000 throughout the program.
Through its third cycle of studies, Lidl Hellas continues to strengthen the labor market with innovative initiatives, providing opportunities and all the necessary resources to young men and women without work experience but with the determination and desire to learn, so they can advance professionally without limits.
“By continuing the Lidl UP: Learn & Work program, we are demonstrating our commitment to the next generation by strengthening the labor market through the creation of quality jobs. It is a holistic program that prepares the retail executives of tomorrow and equips them with everything they need to tackle new challenges and achieve our shared goals,” said Miltos Forozidis, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Lidl Hellas.
Applications close on July 22, while the third cycle of studies and the theoretical courses at SAEK AKMI begin in October.
