SOUROTI is opening a new, strategically important chapter in its development with the implementation of a major investment plan that includes the complete reconstruction, the modernization, and the construction of a new production facility adjacent to its existing facilities. The investment was announced by Ivan Savvidis via a video message shown during the anniversary event marking 110 years since the company’s founding, titled “From the Source to the Future.”
The new facility will feature two state-of-the-art production lines, significantly boosting SOUROTI’s production capacity, and is scheduled to begin operations in early 2028. This new investment is a natural continuation of the growth trajectory the company has been following in recent years.
The investments made over the past three years have led to an 80% increase in production capacity, while the utilization rate of the well water has doubled, from 40% to 80%. At the same time, SOUROTI returned to profitability, with an EBITDA of 1.845 million euros in 2025 compared to losses of 1.619 million euros in 2022, while revenue increased from 10.247 million euros in 2022 to 16.819 million euros in 2025. The announcement was made as part of the company’s 110th-anniversary celebrations, highlighting its rich history.
The connection between the SOUROTI spring and humanity dates back to the Neolithic Era, representing a tradition spanning approximately 8,000 years, while the company, drawing on its natural spring as its foundation, continues to invest with respect for authenticity, quality, and the sustainable use of its natural resources, linking its long history to the future of Greek production and Northern Greece, according to the company’s announcement.
