Small losses in Europe, small gains in the Greek stock market.
With a marginal discount, the S&P500 futures from 7,483 points. Investors' attention on Wall Street is on the announcement of important data tomorrow, something that explains, in part, the wait-and-see stance in Frankfurt, Paris today. Attention is also on the meeting of central bankers in Sintra/Portugal, taking into account Friday's holiday (July 4-Independence Day).
With relative calm, the first session of July, and of the second half, with the DAX40 at 25,072 (0.34%), the CAC40 at 8,350 (-0.04%) and the EuroStoxx Banks at 291.61 (-0.71%) steadily in negative territory since the start of the day.
The trend for EuroStoxx Banks shares initially affected the stance of a portion of investors on Euronext Athens, with the result that in the period 10:30-11:10 sellers prevailed, with liquidations in all four systemic stocks as well. Opening with a small downward gap from 2,752 with selling/correction to 2,745 points, the day's low at 10:46 and the point from which buying at higher prices was activated. At 11:23 the DTR turns positive, to continue thereafter up to 2,794.65 points, the high so far (14:15).
The easy absorption of whatever supply initially came out in the four stocks was the trigger for more buy orders to follow. Initially in Eurobank, then in National and after 11:45 also in Piraeus, Alpha Bank. Almost in parallel, buying emerged in Bank of Cyprus, Credia Bank so that the rise in bank stocks acquired an almost universal character. Something which, as we noted in our previous comments, was considered encouraging and, although very early, as an indication of a transfer of interest/liquidity from the energy to the banking sector.
Turnover at 135 million euros, 23 million through pre-agreed orders (the most significant in PPC, GEK TERNA, Alpha Bank, ADMIE as well as Profile), trading at 14.7 million shares, 9.98 million shares in bank stocks.
The pace is accelerating somewhat in bank shares, at 15.45 (2.42%) for National, at 3.952 (0.08%) for Αlpha Bank, at 9.16 (0.76%) for Piraeus and at 9.59 (0.28%) for Bank of Cyprus, at 1.186 (3.31%) for Credia Bank.

At 58/55 the ratio of stocks, with positive/negative sign. Y/KNOT at 1.525 euros with a rise of 11.31% and trading of 440 thousand shares stands out among the mid/small caps, one day after the announcement of the purchase of a ship (Aframax) for $44.1 million.
At the new highs of 8.07 (4.81%) the Profile share, with a block trade for 200 thousand at 8 euros (at 14:07), at 0.49 (4.34%) the AVE share, at 0.337 (3.37%) that of Frigoglass.
