HELLENiQ ENERGY is launching the online application platform for the “Empowering Youth” High School Valedictorians Reward Program “Empowering Youth,” which it has been running continuously for 18 years, providing tangible support to young people who have excelled in the Panhellenic Examinations and are entering higher education.
Applications are submitted online from July 1 through August 19, 2026, via the platform studentsawards.helleniqenergy.com.
From 2009 to the present, more than 5,700 top-performing students from 60 general and vocational high schools in the regions where the Group operates have been recognized through the Program, which is one of HELLENiQ ENERGY’s longest-running Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
Program Beneficiaries
The Program is open to graduates of general and vocational high schools who, during the 2025–2026 school year:
- received a high school diploma with a grade of 18.1 or higher,
- achieved an average score of 16 or higher on the Panhellenic Examinations,
- are permanent residents of the municipalities of:
Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, Mandra-Eidyllia, and Megara in the Thriasian Plain,
Ampelokipoi-Menemeni, Delta, and Kordelio-Evosmos in Western Thessaloniki,
Kozani in Western Macedonia.
The Program recognizes the students’ consistent effort and encourages them to continue their educational journey, supporting young people as they take their first steps as college students.
Required Documents for Participation
The application must be accompanied by:
- A copy of the 2026 high school diploma
- A copy of the Certificate of Participation in the 2026 National Examinations
- A certificate of permanent residence issued by the relevant municipal authority for one of the following municipalities: Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, Mandra-Eidyllia, Megara, Ampelokipoi-Menemeni, Delta, Kordelio-Evosmos, or Kozani.
Evaluation Process
Applications will be reviewed by a special committee of HELLENiQ ENERGY. The final list of beneficiaries will be posted at https://studentsawards.helleniqenergy.com/ and on the HELLENiQ ENERGY website on August 27, 2026.
Please note that the children of Group employees are not eligible to participate in the Program.
