Papastratos presents the FutuReady Internship Program, a new paid internship program, and invites graduating students and recent graduates who wish to gain meaningful professional experience, develop modern skills, and take their first professional step in an environment that invests in innovation, learning, and growth to submit their applications by August 1 on the dedicated website (here).
As explained in the announcement, starting October 1 and for a period of up to six months, participants will join the Papastratos organization and work alongside experienced company executives on projects with a meaningful impact. Through their daily involvement in projects within the Marketing, Commercial, Finance, and People & Culture departments, as well as in the Operations departments at the Aspropyrgos factory, they will gain practical experience and valuable insights into how a modern, multinational organization operates.
More than just a traditional internship, the FutuReady Internship Program is designed as a comprehensive professional development experience. At the same time, participants will have the opportunity to receive ongoing guidance from managers and mentors, while also taking part in training activities that strengthen critical professional and digital skills.
Particular emphasis is placed on the skills of the future, with opportunities to familiarize participants with artificial intelligence, develop critical thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and collaborative skills that meet the needs of today’s job market.
The program will take place at Papastratos’ facilities in Aspropyrgos using a hybrid work model, and participants will have the opportunity to learn about Philip Morris International’s global best practices.
The FutuReady Internship Program is part of FutuReady Greece, the new multi-initiative platform announced by Papastratos to mark its 95th anniversary of continuous presence in Greece. With an eye toward the next five years and the company’s journey toward its 100th anniversary, FutuReady Greece focuses on education, employment, and society.
In this context, Papastratos has already announced specific initiatives, including a strategic partnership with the Athens University of Economics and Business, which features scholarships for students in the Department of Management Science and Technology, skills development and career readiness programs for 1,000 young people, as well as a program to strengthen the country’s educational infrastructure.
Maria Patakiouti, General Manager of People and Culture at Papastratos and Southern Europe at Philip Morris International, stated: “At Papastratos, we believe that investing in the next generation is an investment in the future. Through FutuReady Greece, and to mark the company’s 95th anniversary in Greece, we are creating opportunities that bridge theory and practice and provide young people with a meaningful role, valuable experience, and skills for their next career step.
The FutuReady Internship Program is one such opportunity, designed to support young people at the start of their journey and help them grow within a modern, dynamic, and international environment.”
