The e-EFKA online services will be temporarily unavailable, according to an announcement by the agency’s administration. Specifically, the outage will last from Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., until Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
The temporary outage is due to scheduled migration work on the “Insurance – Revenue from Self-Employed Insured Persons e-EFKA” subsystem, as part of the launch of the Agency’s new Integrated Information System (O.P.S.).
Specifically, the following online services will not be available:
1. EFKA Contributions for Self-Employed Individuals / e-EFKA
2. Contributions for Self-Employed Individuals (ETEAP)
3. Application for Refund of Overpaid Amounts
4. Declaration of Concurrent Salaried Employment
5. Contribution Certificate for Tax Purposes
6. Commencement (Enrollment/Re-enrollment), Change of Activity, Termination of Insurance
7. Voluntary Insurance with TEKA
During the transition period, on the “Citizen Dashboard – myEFKA” digital platform:
- Financial data regarding the current insurance contributions of self-employed insured individuals will not be displayed due to the temporary unavailability of the relevant data.
- The service for paying current insurance contributions via the IRIS system will be temporarily unavailable from July 7, 2026, through July 10, 2026. Please note that the other existing methods of paying insurance contributions remain available.
- The automatic enrollment process will not be carried out during the 7/2026 payment cycle to facilitate the insured during the completion of the transition to the new OPS.
To address any urgent needs during the aforementioned period, citizens may seek assistance from the relevant Local Directorate (T.D.) of e-EFKA to which they belong.
Every effort is being made to complete the work as quickly as possible, with the aim of minimizing the downtime of electronic services, ultimately to improve the user experience, in a more modern and user-friendly environment, the agency concludes in its announcement.
