In light of the recent arrests of members of criminal organizations involved in cases of deceiving citizens, as well as similar incidents that have been recorded recently, HEDNO once again draws the attention of its customers to attempts at deception by individuals falsely presenting themselves as employees or representatives of the Company.
The fraudsters contact citizens by phone from unknown mobile numbers and try to mislead them, claiming that they are acting on behalf of HEDNO or another authority. Indicatively, they mention that there are “high bills”, request information about electrical appliances (such as air conditioners), and then attempt to obtain details about valuables or cash, even proposing meetings for a supposed “inspection”.
It is categorically reminded:
- HEDNO never asks for information about money or valuables.
- HEDNO never schedules inspections through phone calls from unknown numbers.
