In today’s 2026–2027 annual capacity allocation auctions for the Vertical Corridor, DEPA Trading, in coordination with Atlantic See LNG Trade and the AKTOR Group–DEPA Trading consortium, participated successfully. The capacity secured amounts to approximately 13,000 MWh/day, or 4.7 TWh on an annual basis.
The consortium’s participation sends a positive signal that the Vertical Corridor will gain even greater commercial appeal and operational efficiency.
It is also a clear signal from the consortium that it seeks to enter into short-term agreements to supply the wider region with U.S. LNG, utilizing the Vertical Corridor before 2030, as announced at the press conference held a few days ago by the CEO of ATLANTIC SEE LNG Trade, Mr. Alexandros Exarchou, and the company’s Chairman, Mr. Konstantinos Xifaras.
