A new accommodation option on the coastal front of Piraeus is being added by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, with the opening of Wyndham Residences Piraeus Marina Zeas, a branded residences project developed in collaboration with DKG Development, a rapidly growing Greek real estate investment and development company.
In a prime location at Marina Zeas, one of Attica’s most important seaside locations, the new property further strengthens Wyndham’s presence in Greece, while also capitalizing on the growing momentum of Piraeus both as a gateway to the Greek islands and as an emerging destination with an independent tourism identity, the relevant announcement notes.
According to data from the Piraeus Port Authority, the port of Piraeus welcomes more than 20 million passengers annually, is the largest port in Europe and one of the busiest worldwide, underscoring its pivotal role in travel to the Greek islands. As passenger traffic continues to increase, demand in the city is also rising for high-quality accommodations that can serve travelers before or after their stay on the islands.
A new internationally branded hospitality offering in Piraeus
Wyndham Residences Piraeus Marina Zeas, in the Marina Zeas area and close to the port of Piraeus, is the first serviced apartments offering in the city operating under an international hotel brand.
The project is being developed across two adjacent eight-story buildings and includes 72 suites and residences, 28 of which have views of the sea and the marina. Guests are in immediate proximity to yacht berths, restaurants, and points of cultural interest.
At the same time, the nearby metro station, Dimotiko Theatro, offers easy access to central Athens and the wider Attica region, while the heart of the capital is about 10 kilometers from the property.
Designed for both short and longer-term stays, the project reflects the rapid growth of the branded residences market, a model that combines the comfort of a residence with the service standards of an international hotel brand.
Accommodation options include rooms, suites, and fully equipped apartments with a kitchenette and living areas, meeting the needs of travelers seeking greater flexibility and a broader lifestyle experience. Premium options include a suite with sea views, a private pool, a veranda, and panoramic views of Marina Zeas and the Aegean.

Wyndham Residences Piraeus Marina Zeas, an investment of more than 25 million euros by DKG Development, has been designed by internationally renowned architect Jean-Pierre Heim, in collaboration with Bletsas Architectural Studio.
In the rapidly evolving Marina Zeas area, the project reflects the momentum Piraeus is gaining, both as a hospitality destination and as a lifestyle destination on the wider Athenian Riviera.
The project is also part of the broader non-exclusive agreement between Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and DKG Development for the development of 12 hotels in Greece in the coming years, strengthening Wyndham’s long-term commitment to the Greek market and its expansion into both established and emerging destinations.
The opening comes at a time when demand for branded residences in Greece is increasing, particularly in Athens and more broadly in Attica. Greece is now among the 5 fastest-growing branded residences markets in Europe, attracting growing interest from international hotel brands and investors.
Including branded residences, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts currently has 15 hotels in Greece, 6 of which are located in Attica.
