Piraeus, within the framework of its Corporate Responsibility EQUALL, consistently continues the implementation of the Women Founders and Makers, Women Βack to Work and Women in Agriculture actions, which are included in the Gender Equality pillar. EQUALL was created in 2022 and to date, 2,966 women have benefited from these actions, the relevant announcement notes.
Applications for participation in the 10th cycle of the Women Founders and Makers and Women Βack to Work actions, as well as in the 9th cycle of the Women in Agriculture action, are submitted at www.equall.gr from September 7 until October 14, 2026. The actions are implemented in collaboration with 100mentors.
Through the Women Founders and Makers, Women Back to Work and Women in Agriculture actions, Piraeus creates the conditions so that every woman can equally claim the choices, opportunities and position she deserves. The actions are addressed to women who are developing or intend to develop entrepreneurial activity, as well as to those who wish to return to the labor market.
Specifically:
- Women Founders and Makers
It is addressed to women who have created or wish to develop their own business activity. The three-month action, with a total duration of 38 hours, consists of two sections:
a) Training in Entrepreneurship & Generative Artificial Intelligence Skills (Learning by studying) and
b) Practical application of Generative Artificial Intelligence Skills (Generative Artificial Intelligence / GenAI) and Mentoring (Learning by doing), for the development of the participants' soft and digital skills, personalized guidance and the deepening of their knowledge, both through their communication with experienced mentors and with generative artificial intelligence tools (GenAI).
Additionally, with a view to promoting equal access for women to entrepreneurial activity, the Bank offers exclusively for women entrepreneurs “Piraeus EQUALL 360°”, a comprehensive proposal of products and services, with special pricing and privileges.
It is addressed to all women who wish to return dynamically to the labor market. The three-month action, with a total duration of 32 hours, consists of two sections:
a) Training in Job Search & Generative Artificial Intelligence Skills (Learning by studying) and
b) Practical application of Generative Artificial Intelligence Skills and Mentoring (Learning by doing), for the development of the participants' soft and digital skills with the aim of their effective interaction with Generative Artificial Intelligence, as well as their personalized guidance by a specially trained community of mentors.
It is addressed to all women who are active or intend to start their own business in the agricultural sector. The three-month action, with a total duration of 26 hours, consists of two sections:
a) Training in Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Crops & Generative Artificial Intelligence Skills (Learning by studying). The topics it covers concern the digitization of the field, entrepreneurship and the transition to green agriculture.
In addition, it also includes sectoral training with subject matter depending on the interests and field of activity of the participants. Within the framework of the training, live sessions (experiential learning) are also held with women farmers/farmers who present best practices of their cultivation and/or their business, and
b) Practical application of Generative Artificial Intelligence Skills and Mentoring (Learning by doing), for the development of the participants' soft and digital skills, personalized guidance and the deepening of their knowledge, both through their communication with experienced mentors, professors and professionals in the agri-food sector, and through the effective use of GenAI tools.
In all the above actions, Mentoring and Skills Development through the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), were designed and are implemented in collaboration with 100mentors. Additionally, the training sections are shaped and carried out in collaboration with Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece and the American Farm School for women farmer entrepreneurs.
Contributing to the strengthening of Gender Equality since 2022 is also the innovative educational program Profession has no Gender, which is included in the New Generation pillar, with the aim of reducing gender stereotypes and is implemented in collaboration with The Tipping Point.
The program is addressed to students of public primary schools, middle schools and high schools throughout Greece in collaboration with the educational community and aims to raise awareness among the new generation regarding career choice and to inspire students to follow their dreams and talents regardless of gender stereotypes.
In this context, male and female students are connected with mentors from Greece and abroad, who are active in professions stereotypically associated with a particular gender. From 2022 until today, a total of 12,606 primary and secondary education students have participated in the program.
