Three different companies, with three distinct roles, are used by Colgate-Palmolive for its activity in Greece. One for sales, one for production and a third for the provision of services to group companies.
The largest is Colgate-Palmolive Commercial (Greece) Single-Member LLC, which distributes in the Greek market products such as Colgate, Palmolive, Ajax, Soupline, etc. It is followed by Colgate-Palmolive (Hellas) Single-Member S.A., which operates as the production arm, and the smaller Colgate-Palmolive Services (Greece) LLC, which provides accounting and financial support to other group companies.
The production company holds 100% of the Commercial company and 99.99% of the Services company.
These three companies, if we add up their sales, posted revenues of 115.95 million euros last year from 112.49 million euros in 2024. Colgate-Palmolive Commercial increased its turnover by 3.4% to 88.33 million euros, gross profit strengthened by 4.5% to 25.6 million euros, with the gross margin improving marginally to 28.99% from 28.68%.
The increase in sales did not pass through unchanged to the bottom line. Selling expenses increased by 22%, to 12.3 million euros, operating profits, however, strengthened by 7.1% to 3.08 million euros, while net profits for the year amounted to 2.54 million euros with the company proposing a dividend of 1.5 million euros, the same as in 2024.
The picture is different at Colgate-Palmolive (Hellas) S.A., the production arm of the group. The company produces on behalf of Colgate-Palmolive Europe products that are directed both to Greece and to markets in Europe and North Africa.
Its turnover increased by 1.5% to 23.27 million euros, however profit before tax declined by 3.1% to 5.16 million euros. Profitability includes income of 1.5 million from holdings and investments. The company made investments of more than 6.1 million euros.
Production volumes, however, did not all move upward. Liquid cleaners and detergents declined to 81,599 tons from 82,362 tons, while fabric softeners decreased to 40,899 tons from 42,952. On the contrary, liquid disinfectants increased to 1,036 tons from 982. The production company distributed a dividend of 3.5 million euros in 2025, against profits for the year of 4.15 million.
Colgate-Palmolive Services is much smaller. Its entire turnover comes from accounting and financial support services to affiliated companies. Its revenues increased 5.2% to 4.34 million euros, while profit before tax decreased by 5.1% to 256.6 thousand euros and net profits amounted to 181.5 thousand euros.
