Philosofish S.A. announces the appointment of Thomas Chasiotis as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Philosofish. His joining is part of the further strengthening of the company’s management and financial structure and supports the Group’s strategic planning.
Thomas Chasiotis has more than 20 years of experience in senior management and financial positions in the aquaculture sector, having acquired significant knowledge and experience in matters of management, financial strategy, and business development.
For the past four years, he held a senior management position at a leading industrial company in the timber sector, where he played an active role in the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives in the areas of financing, investments, business transformation, and financial management.
His return to the aquaculture sector through Philosofish combines his long-standing industry experience with his recent experience in a broader industrial and business environment. From his new position, he will contribute to shaping and implementing the Group’s financial strategy, to the further strengthening of corporate governance, and to supporting Philosofish’s strategic priorities, with the aim of sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
Thomas Chasiotis is a graduate of the Department of Statistics of the University of Piraeus and holds an Executive Master’s (M.Sc.) in Banking and Financial Management, with specialization in Corporate & Business Finance.
