PPC S.A. announces the completion of the transaction for the integration of a portfolio of RES projects in Poland, within the framework of the strategic agreement signed on 7 August 2026 for the acquisition of the subsidiaries of ABO Energy in Poland and Hungary, with a total RES project portfolio of more than 2 GW.
PPC acquired from the German ABO Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA seventeen (17) of its subsidiaries in Poland, which hold a portfolio of RES projects with a total capacity of up to 1.2 GW (photovoltaics, wind and batteries). Of these projects, a 17 MW photovoltaic plant is already under construction, while the remaining portfolio is at various stages of development.
In addition, through the transaction, the local project development team also joins the Group, with significant expertise and deep knowledge of the Polish market.
The completion of the transaction for the Hungary portfolio, with a total capacity of approximately 1.1 GW, is subject to the fulfillment of certain customary conditions precedent for transactions of this kind, including, among other things, obtaining the required approvals from the competent supervisory authorities, and is expected within the fourth quarter of 2026.
