AEGEAN was distinguished for the 15th consecutive year and the 16th overall in its 27 years of operation as the “Best Regional Airline in Europe” at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026.
This distinction from the internationally recognized Airline Rating Organization Skytrax is an important recognition of the trust and appreciation of the traveling public and at the same time a tangible recognition of AEGEAN’s steady commitment to quality, service, and the continuous upgrading of the travel experience.
In addition, the company maintained for yet another year 4th place in the global ranking for the title of “Best Regional Airline in the World”, confirming its steady presence among the top regional airlines worldwide.
The Skytrax World Airline Awards are the most recognized and independent international evaluation of airlines. The winners are selected exclusively by travelers themselves through the world’s largest passenger satisfaction survey, a fact that has established the awards as a benchmark for excellence in the air transport industry. For this reason, they are often also described as the “Oscars of aviation”.
The award ceremony took place at a special event in London, at The Langham Hotel, where AEGEAN executives and crew members received the honorary distinction, representing the company.
