A steady lead for New Democracy, but also strong reservation among citizens toward the government's announcements and the measures presented at the Thessaloniki International Fair, is recorded in the new poll by Alco for Alpha.
In voting intention among valid votes, New Democracy is recorded at 24.3%, compared with 24% in the previous June measurement. The Greek Left Alliance (ELAS) of Alexis Tsipras gathers 14.4%, down from 14.7%, while PASOK strengthens to 11.1%, up from 10.4%.
The ND - ELAS difference thus stands at 9.9 percentage points, while the distance between ELAS and PASOK narrows to 3.3 points. This picture is recorded in a survey conducted after the political statements and announcements at the TIF.

After the top three parties, Greek Solution gathers 6.4% and the KKE 6.2%. They are followed by Course of Freedom with 3.5%, "Hope for Democracy" of Maria Karystianou with 3.1% and MeRA25 with 2.6%.
Voice of Reason of Afroditi Latinopoulou stands at 2.2%, SYRIZA at 2%, Niki at 1.3% and Democrats of Stefanos Kasselakis at 0.7%. The choice "other party" gathers 6.9%, while the percentage of the undecided remains particularly high, at 15.3%.
Compared with the previous measurement, the change in "Hope for Democracy" is notable, as it falls from 7.8% to 3.1%, while the choice "other party" increases from 2.9% to 6.9%.
What citizens say about the TIF announcements
The poll also records citizens' assessment of the political messages and programs presented in Thessaloniki.
To the question of which of the parties' programs presented at the TIF is considered more realistic and implementable, New Democracy gathers 23% of spontaneous responses. PASOK follows with 12% and ELAS with 10%.
The KKE gathers 4%, Greek Solution 3% and SYRIZA 2%, while "Hope" and the choice "other party" each record 1%. However, the largest single response is "none" with 32%, while 12% say they do not know or do not answer.
Who is considered more credible regarding the announcements
To the question of which among Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Alexis Tsipras and Nikos Androulakis is considered more credible and capable of implementing what he announced, Kyriakos Mitsotakis gathers 27%, Alexis Tsipras 14.5% and Nikos Androulakis 12.5%.
In this question too, however, a high percentage of non-selection of a political leader is recorded. 40% answer "none", while 6% say they do not know or do not answer.
82% see little or no benefit from the measures
Of particular interest are the findings on the personal economic impact of the measures announced by the government at the TIF.
Almost eight in ten respondents, and specifically 82%, say that the measures benefit their family "a little" or "not at all". 48% answer "not at all" and 34% "a little".
On the other hand, only 11% estimate that they benefit "quite a lot" and 2% "a lot", while 5% do not know or do not answer. Thus, the difference between those who report little or no benefit and those who see considerable or great benefit is particularly large.
Reservations also about the price reduction
A similar picture is also recorded regarding the government's initiative to reduce prices on more than 1,700 product codes.
44% estimate that the initiative will contribute "not at all" to reducing prices, while 33% believe it will contribute "a little". Only 7% answer "quite a lot" and 2% "a lot". 14% say they do not know or do not answer.
At 58% the complete dissatisfaction with government performance
The evaluation of government performance remains negative, according to the measurement. 58% of respondents say in September that they are "not at all" satisfied with the government's performance, compared with 55% in June.
21% say they are "a little" satisfied, compared with 22% in the previous measurement, while 20% say they are "very" or "quite" satisfied, down from 22% in June. 1% do not know or do not answer.
Who better understands society's problems
Also of interest are the spontaneous responses to the question of which political leader better understands society's problems.
The answer "none" gathers 27%, constituting the largest single choice in this specific question. Yannis Varoufakis records 2%, while Maria Karystianou, Dimitris Natsios, Afroditi Latinopoulou and Rena Dourou each gather 1%. The choice "others" stands at 3%, while 5% do not know or do not answer.
