The NEUROPUBLIC is proceeding with the complete renewal of gaiaTRAP, the integrated digital monitoring system for the olive fruit fly, in the context of the digital transformation of the agricultural sector.
The system combines a modern McPhail-type trap with an Artificial Intelligence model and a field data analysis platform.
New platform and smart alerts
The new platform is available at trap.neuropublic.gr and can also be installed on a mobile phone, without requiring a download from the App Store or Google Play.
Through the platform, a unified view is provided for all installed traps, with information on the operating status, number of insects, temperature, humidity, and battery level.
At the same time, smart alerts allow timely and targeted intervention, based on the data collected from the traps.
Recognition accuracy above 90%
The digital olive fruit fly trap gaiaTRAP uses Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing technologies for the automatic recognition and recording of insects.
According to NEUROPUBLIC, the system achieves accuracy above 90% in target recognition, while the development team continues training and improving the model, aiming for even greater accuracy and effectiveness in olive production.
The new platform is aimed at both individual producers and agronomists, cooperatives, and agrifood businesses that manage a large number of traps.
At the same time, it offers an aggregated view of the data and the ability to easily share access among the organization, agronomist, and producer.
“With the new gaiaTRAP, we are taking another step in our vision for the Digital Transformation of Greek agriculture. We are giving producers a tool that combines the precision of Artificial Intelligence with the simplicity they need in their daily work,” said Giannis Michailidis, Chief Marketing Officer of NEUROPUBLIC.
For existing users, no action is required for their traps and data, which remain available on the new platform. It is enough to log in again to their account at trap.neuropublic.gr
