For the 27th consecutive year, Prodexpo, the largest annual conference for the real estate market in Greece and Southeastern Europe, returns on October 14 and 15 to the Athens Conservatoire.
According to the relevant announcement, this year's event is expected to bring together more than 140 speakers, including leading market executives, institutional investors, and international experts, while every year it attracts more than 1,000 participants.
The conference proceedings will focus on investment strategies in the post-Recovery Fund era, geopolitical developments, and new capital flows, with particular emphasis on the need for affordable housing and the strategic utilization of public property.
At the same time, the new spatial planning for tourism, major urban regeneration projects, and digital transformation will be in focus, with the simplification of procedures in the Cadastre and urban planning through the use of Artificial Intelligence and PropTech.
The infrastructures of the future will also come under scrutiny, such as data centers and logistics, in combination with climate resilience and sustainable construction with ESG criteria.
Institutional representatives
Particular weight will be given this year to institutional dialogue, as the real estate market is linked to critical public policy issues, from housing and spatial planning to investments and demographic changes.
Among the confirmed speakers are Maria Eleni Soukouli Viliali, Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, Giorgos Pitsilis, Governor of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), Thanos Plevris, Minister of Migration and Asylum, Vangelis Kyriazopoulos, Secretary General for Spatial Planning and Urban Environment, as well as Gianna Chormova, Governor of the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
From the private sector, among those participating in the two-day program are Dimitris Andriopoulos, CEO of Dimand, Angeliki Andreou, Retail Senior Director of Noval Property, Olga Eftychidou, Head of Legal at Sioufas & Associates Law Firm, Panos Karpathios, CEO of Karpathios Development, Aris Karytinos, CEO of Prodea Investments, Dimitris Oikonomou, founder and CEO of MyStudentFlat, and Andreas Protopappas, General Manager of FinTHESIS.
Property Agents Forum for the second year
At the same time, as part of the event, the Property Agents Forum will be held for the second consecutive year on October 15, in cooperation with the Panhellenic Federation of Associations of Real Estate Brokers for Urban Contracts (P.O.S.M.A.S.).
The specialized section will focus on the new institutional framework, technological developments, and emerging opportunities for real estate market professionals.
