Eurobank was named Best Consumer Digital Bank in Greece (Best Consumer Digital Bank) and Best Corporate Digital Bank in Greece (Best Corporate Digital Bank) at the Global Finance World’s Best Digital Banks Awards 2026, receiving a total of 15 distinctions in Greece and Western Europe.
The new distinctions come a few weeks after Eurobank was named “Greece’s Best Digital Bank” at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, further strengthening the international recognition of the Bank’s digital strategy and the services it offers to consumers and businesses.
As the relevant announcement notes, the scope of this year’s Global Finance distinctions covers key areas of modern digital banking, from Mobile Banking and user experience to digital payments, services for small and medium-sized enterprises, Trade Finance and Embedded Finance. Of particular importance are the distinctions at the Western Europe level, which highlight Eurobank’s digital presence beyond the Greek market as well.
The distinctions for Consumers and Businesses
In digital services for consumers, in addition to the Best Consumer Digital Bank in Greece distinction, Eurobank was named Best Mobile Banking App in Greece, Best User Experience (UX) Design in Greece, Most Innovative Digital Bank in Greece, Best Online Product Offerings in Greece and Best Online Payments Solution in Greece. At the same time, at the Western Europe level it received the distinction Best User Experience (UX) Design in Western Europe.
In digital services for businesses, in addition to the Best Corporate Digital Bank in Greece distinction, Eurobank was recognized as Best SME Banking/SME Platform in Greece, Best Online/User Experience (UX) Portal in Greece, Best Trade Finance Services in Greece and Best Digital Payments Strategy in Greece. At the Western Europe level, it received the distinctions Best Bank for Embedded Finance in Western Europe, Best Online/User Experience (UX) Portal in Western Europe and Best Trade Finance Services in Western Europe.
Digital experience and Embedded Finance
A special place among this year’s distinctions is held by Eurobank’s awards for Best User Experience (UX) Design and Best Bank for Embedded Finance at the Western Europe level, as they recognize two different but complementary directions of the Bank’s digital strategy.
The first concerns the continuous evolution of digital services with the customer at the center and the creation of simpler, more personalized and effective experiences for consumers. The second concerns the development of Embedded Finance, with banking services and functions being integrated into the business and commercial ecosystems in which customers operate, expanding their access to financial services through the channels and environments they already use.
