HELLENiQ ENERGY, through the Corporate Responsibility Program “Empowering Youth”, continues this year as well - for the 18th consecutive year - to actively support the new generation, rewarding top-performing graduates of General and Vocational High Schools in the neighboring Municipalities where it maintains its facilities.
This specific initiative aims to strengthen and encourage young people at the start of their academic journey. It has now become an institution for students of Thriasio Pedio (Municipalities of Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, Mandra-Eidyllia, Megara), Western Thessaloniki (Municipalities of Ampelokipoi-Menemeni Delta, , Eleftheriou Kordeliou-Evosmos) and the Municipality of Kozani.
From 2009 until today, HELLENiQ ENERGY has rewarded more than 6,000 top-performing graduates from over 60 High Schools, who distinguished themselves through their performance in the Panhellenic Examinations, proving its determination to stand by young people who wish to progress, excel and achieve their dreams.
This year, 368 new award recipients were added, who succeeded in gaining admission to tertiary education. Of these, 91 come from Thriasio Pedio, 190 from Western Thessaloniki, while 87 young people graduated from High Schools in Kozani.
As the relevant announcement notes, HELLENiQ ENERGY welcomed them all with the slogan “The future is yours”, at the successive award ceremonies it organized to receive them, on September 16 in Thessaloniki and on the 28th of the month in Athens.
The events were honored by the presence of the leadership of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, government officials, Members of Parliament, representatives of Local Government, local Metropolitans, representatives of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee and the Hellenic Basketball Federation. Close to the top-performing graduates were the Management of HELLENiQ ENERGY and company executives, while their most ardent supporters once again proved to be the teachers and, of course, their parents and guardians.
The CEO of HELLENiQ ENERGY, Mr. Andreas Siamisiis, emphasized:

In turn, the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Ms. Sofia Zacharaki, stated:

Achievement is an important milestone, but the next step requires knowledge, creativity and continuous learning. We support every quality path after High School: studies, vocational education, apprenticeship, work and entrepreneurship. Congratulations to everyone; a new chapter is opening before you with more choices and opportunities.»
The host of the three events was Lambros Fisfis, who with humor, wit and inexhaustible energy, created a warm and friendly atmosphere for the young people who were awarded.
A special moment was the discussion between the CEO of HELLENiQ ENERGY, Mr. Andreas Siamisiis, and Mr. Giorgos Nikoletakis, an expert on issues of integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence into the corporate world, about the opportunities and challenges that Artificial Intelligence brings to the lives, education and work of young people, as well as the importance of its responsible use.
HELLENiQ ENERGY remains consistently by the side of young people and the educational community, with a series of initiatives. In addition to the Top Graduates Reward Program, since 2013 it has offered more than 350 scholarships for postgraduate studies at leading Universities in Greece and abroad, while also creating the “HELLENiQ ENERGY Alumni Community” that strengthens the connection among scholarship recipients, helping their professional development.
