Theon International Plc (THEON) announces new orders with a total value of approximately €50 million from European countries and countries in the Middle East, with the first deliveries expected to begin within the current year.
More specifically, THEON received a notice of award for the supply of NYX night vision sights and the ORION binocular fused imaging system to a European NATO member state. This is the first major contract for the delivery of ORION sights from a Western European country, which constitutes an important milestone within the framework of the THEON NEXT initiative for the development of a European, fully interconnected vision system for the soldier of the future.
At the same time, new orders for land and sea surveillance systems worth several million euros came to the Group through KAPPA (a company 100% controlled by THEON).
The remainder of the new orders concern various portable systems. With the start of Q4 2026, the prioritization of procurement of land forces equipment is being observed, as expected by Management already since the beginning of the year, with the company being selected for numerous awards.
These new orders further strengthen THEON's leading position in the field of next-generation soldier systems. According to the company's forecasts, further acceleration is expected during Q4 2026 and at the beginning of 2027.
Philippe Mennicken, Deputy CEO and Business Development Director of THEON, stated:
“We note with satisfaction that strong prospects are taking shape in all our areas of activity for Q4 2026 and Q1 2027. Beyond this first series of new orders, THEON has been selected for additional orders with a total value of several hundred million euros, including purchase options, which are in the process of final confirmation and are expected to be finalized no later than Q1 2027. Nevertheless, we will continue to maintain a conservative stance in our estimates.
Finally, we are particularly pleased that the coordination between the Business Development and Research & Development teams is already accelerating in all relevant areas, with regard to stabilized systems (gimbals) and air defense systems, within the framework of the investments recently announced. The full operational merger will be able to begin after receipt of the required regulatory approvals. THEON has already started offering internationally an integrated portfolio of electro-optical systems”.
