More than 140 companies and over 3,500 available job positions await those interested at the 58th “Career Day” of the Public Employment Service (DYPA), which will take place on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 to 18:00, at the Divani Caravel (2 Vasileos Alexandrou Avenue, Athens).
According to the relevant announcement, the event is aimed at unemployed people seeking work, as well as employees who are interested in new professional opportunities or wish to change jobs.
During the event, candidates will have the opportunity to speak directly with human resources executives of the companies, submit their CVs and discuss the available positions and possibilities for cooperation.
Sectors and specialties
The participating companies are active in a wide range of sectors of the economy, such as the food, clothing, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and building materials industries, wholesale and retail trade, construction and technical works, information technology, telecommunications, renewable energy sources, service provision, catering, entertainment and education.
The available positions cover many different specialties and are aimed at candidates with different educational backgrounds, professional experience and levels of specialization.
Indicatively, the companies are seeking engineers of various specialties, electricians, mechanical engineers, chemists, refrigeration technicians, food technologists, agronomists, machine operators, welders and technicians, as well as workers in production, warehouses, sales and transport.
At the same time, there are positions for accountants, administrative employees, nurses, midwives, biologists, beauticians, graphic designers, marketing executives and project managers, as well as for IT professionals, such as application and website developers, software engineers and database administrators.
Employment opportunities also include positions in the field of education, for teachers, kindergarten teachers and professors of various specialties, such as foreign languages, mathematics, physics, chemistry and philological subjects.
