Piraeus announces the launch of the new cycle of the “Digital Autonomy 60+” program, which is carried out within the framework of its Corporate Responsibility EQUALL and is included in the 60+ Generation Pillar, in collaboration with the company 100mentors and the non-profit Organization Bizrupt.
Following the completion of the 1st cycle in June 2026, Piraeus consistently continues the implementation of the program aimed at strengthening the digital autonomy of people over 60 years old. Through the provision of specialized training, participants acquire the necessary tools to carry out their daily transactions with greater security, while at the same time developing new skills in the use of digital technologies and in the basic principles of financial management. In this way, the program contributes to reducing social exclusion and strengthening the active participation of people aged 60+ in modern digital society.
The new cycle includes four small-group sections and will be conducted entirely online for interested persons over 60 years old from all over Greece.
Participants will attend a total of 20 hours of training, with an emphasis on practical learning and immediate application in everyday life, from communication and electronic transactions to the use of public services and daily financial organization.
The program lasts 2.5 months and focuses on the following key areas:
Digital literacy & Communication:
Familiarization with the use of mobile phones, computers, and basic digital communication applications, to cover daily needs and maintain contact with the family and social environment.
Digital security & Electronic transactions:
Recognition and avoidance of digital fraud, secure execution of electronic payments, and familiarization with basic digital public services, such as the Unified Digital Portal gov.gr.
Basic financial literacy:
Introduction to the basic concepts of income and expense management, as well as support in making simple financial decisions in everyday life.
Applications for participation are submitted from October 5, at 12.00 p.m. and will remain open until October 19 at 12.00 p.m., through the specially designed page of the “Digital Autonomy 60+” program, at www.equall.gr
