Greece Sotheby's International Realty is undertaking, as the exclusive partner of DIMAND, the commercial marketing of FIX Residences, which are being developed as part of the redevelopment of the historic FIX brewery at the western entrance of Thessaloniki.
The project will be presented to buyers in Greece and in international markets through the global Sotheby's International Realty network, the relevant announcement states.
«FIX is a landmark inextricably linked to the industrial history and identity of Thessaloniki. Our ambition is to give new life to this historic site, respecting its character while at the same time creating a modern destination for the city. The collaboration with Greece Sotheby's International Realty is an important step for promoting FIX Residences in both the Greek and international markets.»
Dimitris Andriopoulos, Chief Executive Officer, DIMAND Group
A new chapter for an industrial landmark
With a history of approximately 140 years, the FIX brewery is among the city's most recognizable industrial buildings. The redevelopment being carried out by DIMAND will transform the site into a new urban destination, where residential living, culture, and hospitality will coexist harmoniously.
Based on the masterplan by Foster + Partners, three historic buildings will be restored and given new uses, while two new bioclimatic buildings will be erected beside them. With brick facades, vaulted roofs, and industrial-style windows, the new buildings will bring the architectural identity of the historic complex into the present day. The result will connect the listed buildings with the new architecture, in a dialogue between industrial heritage and contemporary design.
The FIX Residences will include 95 private residences in a new nine-story building with a total area of approximately 19,800 sq.m., with 134 parking spaces exclusively for owners. The building will prioritize energy efficiency and environmental performance, aiming for LEED Gold certification.
«The redevelopment of FIX is a unique opportunity to reconnect an important part of Thessaloniki's industrial heritage with the life of the city. Through our close collaboration with DIMAND, we created a design that respects the historic character of the site while also setting a new standard for sustainable mixed-use developments. With culture, community, hospitality, and contemporary living as its pillars, the project will create a vibrant new destination, contributing to the ongoing regeneration of Thessaloniki.»

Residential living, culture, and hospitality
FIX holds a strategic position in Thessaloniki's evolving urban landscape, a few minutes from the city's historic center and approximately 30 minutes from Thessaloniki International Airport «Macedonia», with connections throughout Greece and abroad.
Two hotel units under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand will be an integral part of the development, along with restaurants, wellness facilities, shops, and landscaped green spaces. Culture will be at the core of the project's identity.
One of the restored buildings will host the MOMus – Museum of Modern Art, with the renowned Kostakis Collection of the Russian avant-garde, as well as the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, bringing exhibitions and performances within walking distance of the residences.
The completion of the development is scheduled for the end of 2029.
«We are delighted with our collaboration with DIMAND, a company with which we share common values and the vision for a better tomorrow in our cities. FIX Residences mark a historic moment for the regeneration of one of Thessaloniki's most important areas, through the design of Foster + Partners.
A new era begins for a great city, one in which it is worth living, returning to, and ultimately becoming part of. We look forward to presenting FIX Residences to the Greek and international markets.»
