Strong revenue growth, a significant improvement in operating profitability and faster investment characterised 2025 for DEIPNOSOFISTIRION S.A. According to the financial statements, sales rose to €34.25 million, up 40.9%; net profit more than doubled to €1.41 million from €659,237, while pre-tax profit rose 92.8% to €1.83 million.
Higher sales were accompanied by improved operating efficiency. Earnings before interest and tax rose to €2 million from €1.09 million, EBITDA came to €3.4 million, while the net profit margin increased to 4.1% from 2.7%.
The company also made a significant investment in Kryoneri, Attica, acquiring an industrial property measuring 8,594 sq m at an acquisition cost of €6.48 million. Management plans to develop facilities with automated operations, a lower energy footprint and the potential to boost productivity through economies of scale. The investment adds to the company’s existing property portfolio, which includes facilities in Kifisia and Metamorfosi.
The biggest challenge, however, lies in the company’s financial structure. Total liabilities rose to €17.33 million from €12.89 million, while current liabilities reached €13.37 million. At the same time, current assets stood at €6.40 million, resulting in negative working capital of €6.96 million.
Management attributes some of the pressure to a bridge loan linked to the Recovery Fund which, according to the annual report, was repaid in January 2026 through refinancing with long-term borrowing.
