AEGEAN AIRLINES S.A. informs investors that, at its meeting on 9 October 2026, the Board of Directors took note of the resignation of Konstantinos Kalamatas as an independent non-executive member of the Board.
Following a recommendation from the Remuneration and Nomination Committee, the Board decided to elect Semiramis Paliou as a member, replacing the member who resigned, and to appoint her as an independent non-executive member in accordance with Article 9(4) of Law 4706/2020, having established that she meets the independence criteria set out in Article 9 of the same law.
The election will be announced at the next General Meeting of Shareholders, in accordance with the procedures laid down by law and the Company’s articles of association.
The new member will serve for the remainder of the current Board of Directors’ term.
Ms Paliou is chief executive of Diana Shipping Inc. She has many years of experience in shipping operations, technical management and crew management, and holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and an MSc in Naval Architecture from University College London. Ms Paliou’s CV has been posted on the Company’s website.
