BARBA STATHIS won the top title of “Food Supplier of the Year”, as well as seven honours at the Supermarket Awards 2026, taking home six gold awards and one silver.
The awards highlight the company’s commitment to quality, innovation and responsible business, as well as its long-standing presence in the Greek economy and society.
According to the company’s press release, it won two gold awards for initiatives showcasing its role in the Greek economy and in creating value, reaffirming its commitment to responsible business growth.
Double honour for the “Let’s Cook” range
The “Let’s Cook” range won two gold awards. The first recognised the successful launch of new products featuring recipes for oil-based vegetable dishes and pulses, offering convenience with no preparation required. The second recognised the range’s innovative take on traditional, quick and highly nutritious recipes for pulses with vegetables.
Meanwhile, BARBA STATHIS fresh salads won a gold award for their sales growth and increased market share.
Gold for education, silver for social contribution
The educational programme “Little Growers: A Green Future Starts at School” won a gold award. The honour recognises the company’s contribution to helping children become familiar with nature, its produce and the value of a balanced diet.
The “We Give” initiative, run by BARBA STATHIS and supermarket chain SKLAVENITIS in collaboration with the organisation “Together for Children”, won a silver award. The honour recognises their joint initiative to provide 11,500 healthy meals to children in need.
