The Regional Unit of Laconia is completing its transition to full Cadastre operations, with its remaining areas being added to the Hellenic Cadastre’s digital property management system.
Specifically, from Monday, 12 October 2026, the Municipalities of Sparta, East Mani, Elafonisos, Evrotas and Monemvasia in the Regional Unit of Laconia, in the Region of Peloponnese, were added to the Cadastre system.
The addition of a further 326,754 properties and 426,817 rights to the operational Cadastre marks the start of a new era of speed, transparency and legal certainty in transactions, cutting bureaucracy and making everyday life easier for citizens and professionals.
With these new areas included, the Regional Unit of Laconia gains a complete, modern Cadastre, leaving time-consuming procedures behind for good. Citizens and professionals gain immediate access to digital services that ensure transparency, speed and protection for their property.
In addition, a complete record of the legal and geographical information for all properties simplifies everyday transactions and provides a key driver of development by supporting sound spatial planning and attracting new investment to the area.
Digital services of the Hellenic Cadastre
From now on, all transactions with the Cadastre will be conducted exclusively online.
Notarial deeds may be submitted online only (except in specific cases).
Digital handling of legal instruments by lawyers (registration of a prenotation of mortgage, discharge of security interests).
Judicial acts may be submitted online through bailiffs.
Acts may be submitted online by the public administration (AADE).
Applications for corrections and manifest errors may be submitted online only.
Searches of the cadastral database are online only.
Digital correction of properties’ geometric data.
Certificates and copies available digitally 24/7.
Electronic filing system – no documents may be submitted in person.
No revenue stamps are required for applications and certificates.
Electronic payments only (e-banking & POS).
Opening hours for in-person searches: 08:30 – 13:30 (the same nationwide).
