Alexandros Exarchou, in his capacity as chief executive of Atlantic SEE LNG Trade, issued the following statement:
“The Vertical Corridor project is a strategic priority of national importance for Greece and the United States. From the outset, the United States Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has consistently and actively supported efforts to advance this strategically important initiative.
In this context, Atlantic SEE LNG Trade has supported the Ambassador’s initiatives and efforts, operating in a particularly challenging environment, as the Vertical Corridor directly affects established interests and challenges entrenched practices, particularly in south-eastern Europe.
Atlantic SEE LNG Trade wishes formally to recognise and commend Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle’s significant contribution to advancing the Vertical Corridor project, a strategic initiative that will strengthen energy security and deliver substantial benefits to European citizens across the region.”
