HELLENiQ ENERGY has announced a one-off discount on sales to all fuel marketing companies as the heating season begins, in response to the specific conditions in the fuel market, as it said in its announcement.
The special one-off discount on heating oil will be 16 cents per litre, equivalent to a 20-cent reduction in the pump price, including VAT.
The existing discount of 4 cents per litre on diesel, equivalent to a 5-cent reduction including VAT, also remains in place. It has been applied since 14 July.
The 8-cent-per-litre discount on 95-octane unleaded petrol (equivalent to a 10-cent-per-litre reduction at the pump, including VAT) will remain in place through this Friday, 16/10/2026.
These discounts are in addition to any subsidies the government may announce.
The overall package of discount measures applies exclusively to fuels intended for consumption in the domestic market and is the most direct and effective way to pass the reductions on to all consumers.
The one-off discount will appear in a separate field on invoices issued.
