EPAFOS is entering a new phase in its development, with a new management structure that combines continuity and experience with fresh momentum, an outward-looking approach and strategic growth.
After almost four decades at the helm of the company, its founder and head, Christos Chaldaiopoulos, is handing over the reins, while continuing to support EPAFOS actively as Management Adviser. In this role, he will contribute to strategic planning and pass on his extensive experience and knowledge to the new management team.
Kostis Liakos, an experienced executive at Quest Group, is taking over as CEO. He has more than 20 years’ professional experience in technology, telecommunications and business development. For the past 17 years, he has held senior positions at iSquare, Apple’s official distributor, contributing to the development of Apple’s education ecosystem in Greece and Cyprus. He is a graduate of the University of Surrey, holds an MSc from the University of Kent and an Executive Mini MBA from ALBA Graduate Business School.
Meanwhile, according to the company’s announcement, Giorgos Rountos is taking over as Deputy CEO & Commercial Director, with expanded responsibilities and an active role in the company’s growth and commercial strategy. He has been with EPAFOS since 2008, progressing through senior roles in sales and technology. He is a graduate of the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus and has completed the Business Administration (Mini MBA) programme.
The two will lead EPAFOS through a modern, collaborative management model, with the aim of making it an even more dynamic and outward-looking company, creating new growth opportunities and continually developing its solutions and services.
