Newrest Greece’s operations span Athens International Airport and the regional airports in Thessaloniki, Chania, Heraklion, Rhodes and Corfu, as well as the premises of Alpha Bank, National Bank of Greece, Athenian Brewery, Coca-Cola HBC, PepsiCo and Intracom Telecom.
The catering company, a subsidiary of Spanish group Newrest, increased its revenue by 7.32% to €86.75 million, from €80.83 million, in the financial year ended 30 September 2025.
However, higher sales did not translate into increased profitability. Net profit fell by 4.4% to €7 million, from €7.32 million, while pre-tax profit declined to €9.35 million from €9.68 million. EBITDA also fell, to €10.58 million from €10.92 million.
In the 2024-2025 financial year, the company decided to distribute a dividend of €7.93 million to its parent, compared with €7.49 million in the previous period. Of that amount, €4.73 million was paid during the year, while the remaining €3.2 million was still unpaid as at 30 September 2025. Equity fell to €11.71 million from €12.65 million, while total assets rose by 10.6% to €37.77 million.
For the current financial year, management had set targets of further sales growth and lower production costs, while also acknowledging uncertainty in the economic environment.
