AADE has posted new tax assessments with a 50% reduction in 2026 ENFIA for main residences in small settlements, correcting cases in which the discount had not been granted during the initial, centralised assessment.
The new assessment covers 15,304 property ownership rights, with total relief for beneficiaries amounting to €806,587.66. Related tax offsets and refunds to beneficiaries are already under way.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance and the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), the new assessments were issued for taxpayers who corrected their home’s electricity supply number in their E9 property declaration after the central ENFIA assessment, as well as for others whose main residence had not been fully identified at the time.
Specifically, the process covers 15,689 ownership rights relating to the main residences of 15,304 individuals in settlements with populations of up to:
* 1,500 people across the country, including the Islands Regional Unit of the Attica Region and excluding other settlements in Attica.
* 1,700 people in the Region of Western Macedonia, the Regional Unit of Evros and border municipalities in the Regions of Central Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, and Epirus.
The total tax reduction amounts to €806,587.66.
