Piraeus Port Authority has announced the establishment of a subsidiary to provide services in the logistics sector.
The full announcement by the listed company follows:
“Piraeus Port Authority S.A. announces that it is proceeding with the establishment of a subsidiary named "PIRAEUS SUPPLY CHAIN GATEWAY SINGLE-MEMBER S.A.", based in Piraeus, as resolved by its Board of Directors at a meeting on 19 October 2026.
The stated purpose of "PIRAEUS SUPPLY CHAIN GATEWAY SINGLE-MEMBER S.A." includes, among other things, developing and providing integrated services in the supply chain (logistics), transport, and port and related infrastructure sectors, including the development, operation and commercial use of storage facilities and distribution centres; the storage, handling and distribution of goods; and the provision of related services and technological solutions.
The company will also be active in the development, management and use of property, as well as the development, financing, implementation and operation of investments and business projects in Greece and abroad, particularly in tourism and hospitality, energy, infrastructure, transport, the environment, real estate and technology.
Its purpose also includes cooperation and partnerships with third parties, as well as the acquisition, management and disposal of equity interests.
The subsidiary’s initial share capital will amount to €30,000.00, with Piraeus Port Authority S.A. holding 100% of its share capital.
The company will issue a further announcement once the process of establishing the new subsidiary has been completed.”
