The Hellenic Statistical Authority announces the Turnover Index in Industry, with 2021=100.0 as the base year and August 2026 as the reference month. Based on provisional data, its development is as follows:
The General Turnover Index in Industry (total of the domestic and foreign markets) for August 2026, compared with the corresponding index for August 2025, rose by 17.8%, following a 1.6% fall in the corresponding year-on-year comparison in 2025.
The General Turnover Index in Industry for August 2026, compared with the corresponding index for July 2026, fell by 22.5%.
The average General Index for the 12 months from September 2025 to August 2026, compared with the corresponding index for the 12 months from September 2024 to August 2025, rose by 10.4%, following a 1.8% fall in the comparison between the corresponding previous 12-month periods.
