Theon International Plc (THEON) announced that it had been awarded contracts by two European NATO member states for the supply of night vision systems worth a total of approximately €45 million. The contracts are subject to final approval by the competent authorities in the usual course of business, while deliveries are expected to begin this year.
The awards further strengthen THEON’s leading position in the global night vision systems market and recognise its proven technological superiority, operational excellence and ability to deliver at scale. They also highlight THEON’s pivotal role in supporting the ongoing modernisation and strengthening of the defence capabilities of NATO’s armed forces.
Philippe Mennicken, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Business Development Director of THEON, said: “These awards reflect strong demand for night vision systems in NATO countries and further strengthen THEON’s leading position in the global night vision systems market. We remain well positioned to capitalise on new opportunities and expect a further acceleration in new orders towards the end of the year and in the first quarter of 2027, in line with the company’s usual seasonality and recent geopolitical developments.”
