Dardanel Greece, the company that acquired Kallimanis, is consolidating its position in the Greek market. According to its management report for the 2025 financial year, turnover reached €25.88 million, up 1.4% from €25.52 million in 2024. The result follows particularly strong expansion in the company's activity in previous years and confirms that its presence in the Greek market has stabilised.
The company is also continuing to strengthen its portfolio, with the products it manages gaining market share. Despite pressure from the wider economic environment and consumer demand, the food category, including fresh and frozen products, is showing signs of stabilisation.
In 2025, the company focused on the sushi category with its Sushida brand, changing how it serves the market. It set up its own Ex Van network, improving distribution and expanding its retail business. As a result, Sushida achieved a 13% market share nationwide in the first half of 2026 (source: Circana YTD06 26).
Growth in retail and frozen foods
The company's aim is to further develop the brand in retail, HoReCa and exports, focusing on the needs of each channel.
In the frozen food category, the company invested in developing value-added products that cater to consumers' preferences for ready-made and semi-prepared meals that can be prepared quickly (in an air fryer, for example), bringing the tavern or restaurant experience into the home.
The company's financial position is a significant advantage as it enters its next phase of growth. Dardanel Greece had €13.09 million in equity and no debt. The management report also points to satisfactory liquidity and adequate equity and working capital.
Strong liquidity and no debt
For example, the ratio of current assets to short-term liabilities stood at 226%, indicating that the company has strong coverage of its short-term liabilities.
At the same time, its low debt burden limits the company's exposure to interest rate movements, while its main customer base within the eurozone similarly limits foreign exchange risk.
A major investment in photovoltaic panels at the company's factories in Aigio began in 2025, strengthening its energy autonomy while accelerating its transition to a more sustainable production model. Completed in early 2026, the investment is part of the company's broader plan to strengthen the sustainability of its operations by using modern technologies that support the responsible management of energy resources and create value with a positive impact on the environment, people and the local community.
Return to profitability in 2026
In the first half of 2026, the company returned to profitability, reflecting an improvement in its financial performance. With this momentum already evident in its performance this year, the company is pursuing a strategy of stabilisation and further growth. It is focusing on consolidating its market position and laying the groundwork for its next phase of growth.
Dardanel Greece aims to achieve balanced growth and further improve its services to customers and partners. Drawing on its experience, organisation and specialist workforce, it is prioritising the retention and subsequent expansion of its market share.
Dardanel Greece is continuing its progress with a focus on stability, financial resilience and laying the foundations for sustainable growth in the Greek market.
