The project “Energy upgrade of municipal buildings in the settlement of Akrini”, with a budget of €2.3 million, has been included in the Special Programme for Just Development Transition of the National Development Programme (NDP) 2021-2025, by decision of Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis.
The project covers energy upgrades to four municipal buildings in the Municipal Community of Akrini, in the Municipality of Kozani: a school complex comprising three buildings (a kindergarten, a primary school and a multipurpose hall), and a multipurpose building.
The project is one of the interventions under the broader plan to improve energy efficiency and promote Akrini’s transformation into a Model Green Settlement.
