The QnR Group is further strengthening its international footprint and its capabilities in the digital transformation of healthcare, with Quality & Reliability A.E. (QnR) undertaking to supply, install, configure, maintain, train users on and support an integrated HIS, LIS and ERP system at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING). The project, worth a total of 1,156,074 euros, excluding VAT, marks another significant step in strengthening the QnR Group’s presence in the Cypriot market and expanding its activities in healthcare.
The new contract forms part of the QnR Group’s strategic aim to turn its longstanding expertise and technological capabilities into comprehensive, end-to-end digital transformation solutions with high added value, while strengthening its presence in strategic sectors and overseas markets. The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is a non-profit medical, research and academic centre that combines the provision of specialised healthcare services with research and education. The new information system will support the Institute’s digital modernisation by bringing its clinical, laboratory and administrative operations together in a modern, interoperable environment.
More specifically, the project includes:
- A hospital information system (HIS) to support electronic patient records, appointments, inpatient care and clinical services.
- A laboratory information system (LIS) to track samples, manage tests and results, and connect with laboratory equipment.
- An enterprise resource planning system (ERP) for financial and administrative operations, invoicing, procurement, warehouse management and human resources management.
From system integration to operational value
The integration of the systems is intended to improve the quality and availability of information, simplify day-to-day processes and enhance the efficiency of the Institute’s services. The project also includes data migration and user training to support a smooth transition to the new environment.
The planned implementation period is twenty (20) months, while the overall schedule includes a further twelve (12) months of warranty and forty-eight (48) months of maintenance and support.
