The cadastral survey in Magnesia and the Sporades was completed on Friday, 23 October 2026, with the inclusion of the remaining areas. Citizens and professionals can now complete all their transactions with the Hellenic Cadastre online.
Specifically, the entire municipalities of Volos, Almyros, South Pelion and Rigas Feraios in the Regional Unit of Magnesia, and the Municipality of Skopelos in the Regional Unit of the Sporades, in the Region of Thessaly, are being included.
The addition of a further 174,121 properties and 170,264 rights to the cadastral database will reduce bureaucracy and delays, while increasing speed, transparency and legal certainty for property owners and professionals.
Digital database
At the same time, the complete record of legal and geographical information for all properties in Magnesia and the Sporades creates an integrated database that simplifies day-to-day transactions, supports sound spatial planning and encourages new investment in the areas.
Deputy Minister of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence Christos Dermentzopoulos said: “With the completion of the cadastral survey in Magnesia and the Sporades, another significant outstanding issue has been resolved, to the benefit of citizens and professionals in the area. Transactions with the Cadastre can now be carried out online, without unnecessary travel or waiting.
