Telekom is upgrading the home connectivity experience with its new Telekom Fiber Router 7 and Mesh Power WiFi service.
With the new state-of-the-art router, provided free with a fibre-to-the-home connection, and the new Mesh service, which ensures consistent WiFi coverage throughout the home, the company’s customers enjoy a complete connectivity experience.
The Fiber Router 7 incorporates WiFi 7 technology, the latest generation of WiFi, delivering a fast, stable wireless connection even when many devices are using the network at the same time.
This means remote working, online classes, streaming and gaming can all run smoothly in today’s connected home.
Easy management through the Telekom App
Users can manage key functions of their home network through the Telekom App.
They can remotely control WiFi, activate Guest WiFi and see which devices are connected to their network.
The app also offers free Online Security features for parental controls and safer browsing, as well as the option to temporarily suspend WiFi access for selected devices.
Power WiFi: strong signal throughout the home
The Power WiFi service extends wireless network coverage throughout the home.
The WiFi 7 Mesh solution, provided in partnership with Comcast Technology Solutions, one of the world’s leading providers of entertainment and connectivity services, dynamically adapts to device usage and the layout of the home, helping to deliver a more consistent and reliable connection.
Installation and management are handled through the Telekom App.
Those who wish can also have a Telekom technician install the service for an additional fee of 30 euros.
Power WiFi is available at a 50% discount for the first four months, at 2 euros per month. After the promotional period, the monthly fee is 4 euros.
With the Fiber Router 7 and Power WiFi, Telekom combines the speed of fibre with the latest generation of WiFi, offering fast connections, wider coverage and easy home network management.
