Under the slogan “The bulb has gone out, but its value hasn’t”, Fotokiklosi S.A., in partnership with AB Vassilopoulos, is presenting the RECYCLE FOR LIFE initiative. It invites the public to recycle light bulbs they are about to discard and enter a prize draw for gift vouchers worth €500 in total.
The initiative aims to raise environmental awareness and highlight the importance of disposing of light bulbs correctly, while offering people an added incentive to make recycling part of their everyday lives.
The information and promotional events kicked off on Friday 23 October 2026 at the AB Vassilopoulos store in Ymittos. Visitors welcomed the initiative, learned about the benefits of recycling light bulbs and found out how to enter the prize draw.

How to enter the prize draw
Entry is simple and takes place at participating AB Vassilopoulos stores:
- Recycle your light bulbs: Find your nearest participating collection point and place your light bulbs in the special recycling bin.
- Scan the QR code: Use your mobile phone camera to scan the code at the collection point.
- Fill in the form: Enter your details (first name, surname, telephone number, email address) and accept the competition terms and conditions.
Once you have completed the process, you will be entered into the draw for €100 gift vouchers every month from AB Vassilopoulos. Winners will be selected in the last week of each month, from October 2026 through February 2027.

Recycling light bulbs correctly helps ensure responsible waste management and protect the environment. The initiative highlights the value of every small action and how everyone’s active participation can make a meaningful contribution to the planet’s sustainability.
