The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET), specifically its Attica Regional Directorate, was notified through the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) that milk-based desserts originating in Denmark had been distributed on the Greek market. The products may contain foreign bodies (glass fragments), following a consumer complaint.
The manufacturer has recalled all affected products. These are milk-based desserts sold under the brand name “Arla PROTEIN”, in 200g plastic containers and in three flavours.
Specifically, the recall covers the chocolate flavour, “Arla PROTEIN Chocolate Flavour Pudding”, with production dates of 11/06/2026, 11/07/2026 and 12/07/2026 and corresponding best-before dates of 07/04/2027, 07/05/2027 and 08/05/2027.
The vanilla-cookie flavour, “Arla PROTEIN Vanilia-Cookie Flavour Pudding”, is also included, with a production date of 30/06/2026 and a best-before date of 26/04/2027.
Finally, the recall covers the salted caramel flavour, “Arla PROTEIN Salted caramel Flavour Pudding”, with a production date of 27/06/2026 and a best-before date of 23/04/2027.
The products were distributed to various food retailers. EFET has called for all the products to be withdrawn from the market immediately, and the relevant inspections are under way.
Consumers who have already bought these products are urged not to consume them.
