On 30 October 2026, the Hellenic Competition Commission, sitting as a Division, unanimously approved, in Decision No. 925/2026 and pursuant to Article 8(3) of Law No. 3959/2011, the acquisition of sole control over EL-PACK SINGLE-MEMBER PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY FOR PACKAGING PRODUCTS by DUNAPACK PACKAGING HELLAS SINGLE-MEMBER COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY, within the meaning of Article 5(2)(b) of Law No. 3959/2011.
The concentration concerns the vertically related markets for:
1. The production and sale of paper for cardboard boxes,
2. The production and sale of corrugated board, and
3. The production and sale of corrugated cardboard boxes.
In its decision, taking into account the parties’ market shares and the competitive conditions prevailing in these markets, the Commission concluded that the concentration does not raise serious doubts about its compatibility with the requirements for competition to function in the individual markets concerned.
