Following a tender, Cosmos Business Systems, an authorised partner of NVIDIA, was selected as contractor for the project “Supply of HPC&AI Research Infrastructure” for the Foundation for Research and Technology (ITE) and the Institute of Computer Science.
The project involves creating an advanced high-performance computing (High-Performance Computing – HPC) infrastructure designed to support demanding scientific and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
The new infrastructure will comprise an integrated cluster of computing systems, including high-performance servers with GPU accelerators, dedicated development nodes for application development, user access and infrastructure management systems (login & management servers), as well as a high-performance network that is high-speed and low-latency, for communication between computing nodes.
Under the project’s technical requirements, the infrastructure will be built around the latest NVIDIA Blackwell architecture accelerators, advanced GPU interconnect technologies and InfiniBand NDR400 networking, creating a powerful computing environment for HPC and AI workloads.
The new contract further strengthens Cosmos Business Systems’ presence in HPC and AI infrastructure, where the company has developed considerable expertise through the design and implementation of advanced computing systems for research and academic institutions.
