Y/KNOT Invest took part in the Euronext Small Cap Conference 2026, held in Athens. Chairman Rigas Tzortzis and chief executive Georgios Koutsos held a series of one-to-one meetings with members of the investment community.
A little more than a year after the new management took office, the company presented progress on its strategic transformation, with shipping emerging as a key growth driver, the company said in a statement. The meetings took place against the backdrop of significant commercial agreements, strong performance by its vessels and the recent inclusion of its shares in the Athens Stock Exchange’s general index.
The €22.8 million share capital increase, which was 1.5 times oversubscribed, and the return to profitability in the first half of 2026 were key milestones in the company’s transformation. They confirmed shareholder support and the effectiveness of the new strategy, which is being implemented at pace.
New charter agreements strengthened this progress. The tanker AMETHYST secured a second charter at a daily rate of $175,000, with estimated revenue of $7.7 million to $13.3 million, immediately following its first charter, which generated total revenue of $4.32 million. Meanwhile, the dry bulk carrier FEDERICA delivered strong performance, securing successive profitable charters.
Y/KNOT Invest continues to implement its strategy, with a steady focus on creating value for shareholders.
