The system for supplying eligible professional farmers with agricultural diesel without Excise Duty went live on 1 November 2026 through the myDieselApp application.
Fuel can be purchased using a digital voucher at service stations participating in the programme. Eligible users are enrolled automatically, with no application or supporting documents required.
Each voucher is valid for five hours. Unused litres cannot be carried over to the following year, while any quantity used in excess of the annual entitlement is deducted from the following year’s limit.
The updated guide from AADE clarifies the process for farmers and fuel businesses, from issuing a digital voucher to issuing receipts and refunding the tax to service stations.
AADE also warns users not to disclose their TaxisNet passwords or other personal data to third parties.
Who is eligible for agricultural diesel without excise duty?
The myDieselApp application is intended for two main groups:
Those eligible for exemption from excise duty on diesel fuel used exclusively in agriculture, meaning crop and livestock production, in accordance with current legislation.
Fuel service stations participating in the programme.
The first group comprises individuals who meet all of the following conditions:
They have submitted a Single Aid Application (EAE).
They are registered in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings (MAAE) of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
They have qualified as a “professional farmer” or a “professional farmer entering the agricultural sector for the first time”.
