A new nationwide programme, a corporate responsibility initiative by IPTO and delivered by Wise Greece, links digital and green skills with real-world career and business opportunities. Registration is now open.
How can professionals acquire the skills the market needs today? And how can a small business make the most of technology, reach new markets and respond to the challenges of the energy transition?
The Next Skills Academy offers practical answers. The programme provides free training for people looking to take the next step: young professionals seeking to strengthen their CVs, people considering starting a business, and professionals and small business owners who want to grow and modernise their activities.
Digital and green skills
Focusing on digital and green skills, the programme turns knowledge into tools that can be put to practical use. Its curriculum ranges from artificial intelligence and digital marketing for small businesses to business planning and environmental management.
The Next Skills Academy is built around three complementary pillars:
Free online training for all. Participants from every part of Greece will take part in the online training programme, led by experienced professionals and market practitioners, wherever they are in their professional or business journey. Real-world examples, useful tools and the chance to talk to business owners who have put this knowledge into practice make room for questions and a meaningful exchange of experience.
Digital platform and activities
Learning platform: Recorded training sessions, podcasts, articles and practical tools are brought together in a freely accessible digital space. This allows anyone interested to return to the material when they need it and apply what they have learnt at their own pace and in their own work.
Face-to-face training in local communities: The programme will visit selected areas around the country, creating opportunities to learn, meet and collaborate with people and organisations in local markets. Its first stop will be Patras, where a series of training activities will be held in partnership with local organisations, the University of Patras and businesses in the area. More information about the activities will be announced soon.
