From generics and conventional pharmaceutical forms to biotechnology and artificial intelligence. This is the next big bet of UNI-PHARMA, which is advancing one of its most ambitious investments.
The company of the Tsetis group has submitted an application to Enterprise Greece since November 2025. Specifically, it is requesting the inclusion of the project in the “Strategic Investment 2” category, which concerns the sectors of research, innovation and biotechnology, emphasizing that the investment will strengthen the development of cutting-edge technologies for the production of high value-added pharmaceutical products, while it will also create new jobs requiring high specialization.
Since June 25, the investment plan is under public consultation, which will be completed on July 5, as part of the evaluation process for its inclusion in the strategic investments.
The investment concerns the establishment of a Research and Innovation Center focused on the development of monoclonal antibodies, biosimilars and new pharmaceutical products. The plan provides for the creation of infrastructure for the development of biopharmaceutical processes, with the ultimate goal of producing biosimilars and, above all, monoclonal antibodies.
At the same time, the new center will develop injectable, inhaled and transdermal formulations, expanding the company’s research and production footprint. The plan also includes the use of artificial intelligence applications in research and development processes.
The completion of the public consultation and the inclusion of the project in the Strategic Investments constitute the next critical milestone for the implementation of UNI-PHARMA’s investment.
